Sometimes, there just aren't enough hours in a day. So what do you do when you realize your day is jammed packed but you have a really important date at 7:30? Don't freak out, there are many ways to maximize on a half hour and any true beauty can get ready from head to toe, in less than 30 minutes. Here's how:
7:00 - 7:07 - As soon as you get home, get in the shower. If your clothes aren't clean, just throw them in the dryer with a bounce sheet while you're in shower (this way, you'll still smell nice). If you don't know what you're going to wear (which you should've thought of by now), take this time in the shower to decide. Don't spend more than 7 minutes in the shower.
7:07 - 7:15 - Once you're out of the shower, go plug in your hair straightener right away (if straightening your hair is necessary). While your straightener is heating up, go dab a tiny bit of mousse in your hair for extra volume. As soon as you're done, get dressed. Then spend 3-5 minutes blow-drying your hair (if needed). By the time you're dressed your hair straightener should be heated (if it isn't, you need a new hair straightener).
7:15 - 7:30 - Once you're dressed and your hair is done (don't worry if it's not completely dry - or straight - the messy look is in) all you have to do is your makeup. What I'm about to say will make some women gasp but I swear it's true: doing your makeup should not take any more than 5 minutes. If it does, you're putting too much on! So put on a touch of coverup, a little bit of blush, eyeshadow and mascara and you're good to go. Swipe on a bit of lip gloss as you walk to the door and you're done.
Don't worry if you're not ready at 7:30 on the dot. Chances are, he'll probably be at least a few minutes late. And if he has to wait a few minutes it's no big deal - you're worth it, aren't you??
