Makeup/Cosmetic Swapping Warning

This is a general warning to all users of MakeupTalk to be aware and careful when making a swap with other members. We recently have had a barrage of swap lifters, you can see their negative feedback here under the "wall of shame".

Please make sure to review all the swap-center rules and regulations and tips located here. Remember to check feedback for the members, and use as many resources that you can get about the person that you are swapping with, (ebay feedback, feedback with other swap forums if applicable, Google search regarding swap lifters, etc). Also ensure that you are able to have FULL communication with the person that you are swapping with, and keep as much do***entation about the swap as possible, until all transactions have been made on both ends.

As mentioned in our SWAP-CENTER RULES, there are many inexpensive resources to protect yourself while swapping:

• delivery confirmation is very cheap, and ensures that you handled your end of the bargain
• insurance, just in case a package is lost or damaged during its transit with USPS;
• use airmail for international packages, and don’t forget to fill out a custom’s slip if necessary.
• if shipping UPS/FEDEX, they offer excellent tracking methods

Make sure to follow the rules and guidelines as stated in the Swap-Center Rules here. We record who reads this. Username, IP address, location, etc, EVERYTHING is recorded.

Swappers: MakeupTalk is not responsible for your swapping issues. It's your job to do your homework.
