In the lead up to the Kentucky and Oregon primaries I heard an interesting figure. In the last month Obama raised $39 Million, Clinton $22 Million & McCain $18 Million. This is not just money that is being raised for the Primaries, but for the general election as well.

This $18 Million is also the largest amount that McCain has gotten in any single month, but by far he has a lot less money than either of the Democratic candidates. This is a huge contrast with either of the last Bush campaigns that had a huge war chest. This does not bode well for McCain who evidently has not endeared himself to the far right of the Republican party. To try and get some money McCain has been sidling up with Bush who despite his abysmal approval rating (70% unfavorable) can still get some money to go McCain's way.

All this would make you think that this would add up to an easy Democratic win, but hey we've seen some stupid things they've done in the past. This should be interesting......
