Re: Clinton to drop this Saturday.

She has no choice. Obama has received more delegates and enough to clinch the nomination. We will not be having the first woman president.

Re: Clinton to drop this Saturday.

I know i heard that she will still try to keep running and that it wasnt over but really, she's just put herself 9 million in the whole which i would believe would be her main reason to try and even that out.

Here's the answer:

"Clinton to end candidacy and announce support for Obama"

By Jill Lawrence, USA TODAY
WASHINGTON — In the end, it took less than 24 hours for Hillary Rodham Clinton to adapt to her party's new political order.
The New York senator will end her quest for the Democratic presidential nomination late this week, according to a senior campaign aide and a top fundraiser who said they could not talk on the record because they were not authorized to comment on the plan.

Wednesday evening, Clinton's campaign issued a less-than-definitive statement saying she would host an event here Saturday "to thank her supporters and express her support for Sen. Obama and party unity." The campaign said the event was moved from Friday to Saturday to allow more people to attend.

Then in the early hours today, the campaign e-mailed a letter from the former first lady to her supporters. In it, she says that "on Saturday, I will extend my congratulations to Senator Obama and my support for his candidacy. … I have said throughout the campaign that I would strongly support Senator Obama if he were the Democratic Party's nominee, and I intend to deliver on that promise."

Re: Clinton to drop this Saturday.

I believe it's true. What a waste of talent. She could do a lot of things for the U.S.

Re: Clinton to drop this Saturday.

I heard the speech today. I thought she did an excellent job giving what i am sure was a difficult speech.

She did a lot trying to mend fences and i thought that worked out fine, but still campaigning for that VP job. So i think they have done a good job of kissing and making up.

here in this picture obama is telling clinton a funny joke (but she doesn't get it)
