How do you feel about Hillary's little white lie

In a speech on Iraq policy delivered Monday at George Washington University, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton recalled facing "sniper fire" on her 1996 trip to Bosnia to visit U.S. troops on a peacekeeping mission. But reporters traveling with the then-First Lady made no reference to any "sniper fire" at the time, and pictures of Clinton arriving at the main air base in Tuzla (see attached video) don’t show anyone ducking or covering.

I think this thing is maybe a little overblown. First you have to know that as first lady the Secret Service would never truly let her fly into an area that was not secure. That being said there probably had been incidents in the previous weeks prior of sniper especially shooting at aircraft as they are landing. So i would not be surprised for them to put a flack jacket and helmet on for landing since this was probably military transport she flew in on. It become easy to translate all this in your mind that there are snipers around and I've got to be careful. A reporter just stating the facts, who might be more used to flying into "hot zones" would nonchalantly report that no one shot at us that day.

to make a big deal about this is stupid. I've never been in the military, but i've been in situations with the military that make you think about things like this and realize how quickly things might change.

Hillary, Hillary, Hillary.....now that the footage of her landing and descent is airing, she claims to have made a mistake. Come on now, if you came under sniper fire, wouldn't you remember it? She's back pedaling.
