Best Loose Powder for African-American skintones
Hi Ladies,
I'm looking for a loose powder that looks good on yellow-based African-American skintones, something that doesn't have a whitish or ashy cast to it. Also, I'm looking for a light powder that controls oil but doesn't completely dry the skin out. Due to extenuating cir***stances, I'd prefer something drugstore, but I'm willing to go more high-end as well. TIA.

HI!!! As far as Drug store brands, I think Black Opal would be a good choice. Department stores, I will have to say Something from MAC, Clinique, or Prescriptives. Hope this helps!

If you'd like to try something department store, look at mavencosmetics.com - they have 5 shades of translucent powder, from incredibly fair to Alex Wek gorgeous rich deep! Their foundations are incredible, too. You can find them in some Nordies in Chicago and in smaller boutique places, too. It's awesome stuff!

I know that Black Opal has a invisible oil control pressed powder that I really like and it works on all skin tones.
