just wondering what colors of eyeshadows would look good on brown eyes?

i have brown with a little green and i wear every olor lol. but i think they say purple is the best

I love to use Purples, Blues and Bronze on Brown Eyed clients. One product I would recommend is the new Bad Gal Lash Blue.....it is so beautiful on brown eyes. I've convinced so many brown-eyed beauties to get it.

brown eyes are the most neutral of all the colors so you can do whatever your heart desires, as long as you think about your skin tone.

I think the general rule is,

warm eyes: cool toned colors.

cool eyes: warm toned colors.

everything ! some colors combos will suit you more than others according to your skin tone/hair color, but you can do what you want.
i love greens, purples (great for smokey eyes), blue/teal, bronze, sandish e/s.

Thats what I used to think, but I find that warm colours make my eyes look even warmer, colours like amberlights by mac and warm turquoises really make my eyes pop!

cool colours dont really do any thing for me

i think the key thing is to experiment, because even with brown eyes, what will suit you will depend on your skintone, the shade of brown etc..

I will wear every color except blue. My eyes are a hazel green/brown and I avoid blue like the plague!

i agree that most colors look good on brown eyed people...i have brown eyes and i use a lot of colors with brown undertones, greens, golds, pewter colors also...but i don't, as a rule, really use blue or purple, mostly because i don't really like the way they look on me. i try to stick with more earthy colors, they compliment my skin tone! so whatever color you like that you think looks good with your complexion, go for it!! no limits!
