Colours for fair skin?

I recently saw an ad for a lipstick range that had lipsticks for fair, medium, and dark skin, I think it was Rimmel or something like that. I have fair skin, and it always looks pinkish or red. Just wondering which colours would suit me best???

thanks xxxo

Re: Colours for fair skin?

I've seen ads by Max Factor and L'Oreal for these lipstick ranges developed for the various skin tones. But I would also say that not only the skin colour, but also eye and hair colour should be taken into consideration when picking a nice lipstick. Fair skin with red hair looks entirely different than fair skin with brunette hair, for instance. I have fair skin too and used to dye my hair red for years, and during this time coral colours suited me best. Now I've gone back to my natural dark brown hair, and now soft pinks suit me much better.

Re: Colours for fair skin?

Max Factor has just bought out a collection for different skin tones, and Covergirl's trushine lipsticks are also divided into skin tones.

Re: Colours for fair skin?

I saw the ad again and it was Max Factor!

Well my eyes are blue and my hair is blonde and brown, so I will have to find out what suits my look.

Thanks guys for the help!
