Dry skin: Chanel's Matt Lumière or Teint Innocence?
Hi everyone!! A new kid on the block!!
![]() I wanted to know if you could explain something to me about Chanel's fluid foundations. A month ago I decided to try a fluid foundation by Chanel. I had looked for information on the net and I was torn between Matt Lumière and Teint Innocence, so I went to the stand and the SA asked me how my skin was. They thing is that back then I thought my skin is oily in the nose, and when I said that to the SA she immediately told me that Teint Innocence was better for me. But a couple of days ago I have been told that my skin is actually dry, and not oily. I thought that it was oily in the nose because the pores are very open there and if I pinch them they release a transparent grease. But I have always had flakes in my nose, and I didn't know that it meant that the skin is dry!! ![]() And now I had several doubts. Why is Teint Innocence better for oily skins than Matt Lumière?? The SA didn't get to explain that to me. And would Matt Lumière have been better for me instead of Teint Innocence if my skin is in fact dry?? Thanks for reading!! And if someone replies to me, thanks in advance for replying!! ![]() |

Re: Dry skin: Chanel's Matt Lumière or Teint Innocence?
you could probably be a combination. Have you considered maybe mixing them? Or applying one and then the other? How about samples?

Dry skin: Chanel's Matt Lumière or Teint Innocence?
Thanks for the suggestion!!
I have been thinking about buying Matt Lumière and use it alternately with Teint Innocene. But I wanted to know first if it's suitable for dry skin. I feel kind of stupid... How could I think that the skin in my nose is oily when it has always been chipped!! But the fact the pores in my nose have a kind of grease inside made me think the skin there was oily...The SA told me that Teint Innocence was better for me when I told her my skin was greasy (which it wasn't) so that leaves me wondering if Matt Lumière is better for dry skin than TI. |

Chanel's Matt Lumière or Teint Innocence?
Matt Lumière is for oily skin??
But when I thount that I had oily skin in my nose and told that to the SA, she told me bluntly that Teint Innocence was better for me than Matt Lumière. I don't know, she sounded so decided... I now I have just been told that the skin in my nose is dry *sigh*Last edited by Sylphadora : 04-01-2008 at 03:26 PM. |
