I have searched every where for a really pretty color of eyeshadow that has shimmer because im all about the glitter and shimmer but it is really hard to find one that is affordable and works great. it doesnt necesarily have to be an eyeshadow it can just be a glitter or shimmer, i just want my eyelids to sparkle when im in the sun or outdoors. does anyone knoww of any brands??

Check out NYX, especially their loose eyeshadows and chrome eyeshadows.

i highly recommend Urban Decay, if you can throw that much money per eyeshadow. if not, at least get their UDPP, it's a great primer that will help your eyeshadows to stick on your lids without creasing.

i also suggest mineral eyeshadows, i have found a few at Fyrinnae which are pretty shimmery, enough to satisfy my liking for shimmery/glittery eyeshadows. if i remember well, Medusa sells awesome glitters.

NYX loose pearl shadows are great. Otherwise MAC pigments and L'Oreal HIP pigments are super shimmery and pigmented as well. Also, Stila's "Kitten" shadow is about as shimmery as it gets!

I was totally going to suggest Stila's "Kitten" E/S. It's super shimmery and it flatters everyone. It comes in the best of Stila kit at ULTA, I think the kit was 40-something dollars? It's a great buy if it fits in your budget since you get the shadow and other stuff (illuminating tinted mositurizer, all over color in peony, a lip gloss, mascara and eyeliner! Not to mention the products are all full size.

Also Urban Decay makes those Midnight Cowboy colors and those are ALL glitter. Very pretty!

The Mac Pigments Are Great And Have Great Shimmer You Can Mix With A Mixing Medium Or Use By Themselves..either Way They Look Great And Have A Great Shimmer Specially That The Summer Is Coming..

so I know you posted this a few months ago, but if you're looking for a shimmery AWESOME eye pigment, check out facefront cosmetics!! I JUST got a shipment from them for the first time the other day and I am soooo blown away!! I've never really used pigments before, but they have this primer that helps everything stick, and they're colors are incredible!
I got bold gold, shock tart, butter me up, and meramint, and locked in lilac, and then they even sent me a free sample of red hot!!! ahhhh soo good!!!
They were kind of expensive, $10 each, but totally worth it.

What I did was used the primer and some cream shadow before applying the pigments.

Since you are looking for something affordable, I would definitely go with "NYX" cosmetics. They have an array of pigments that are just beautiful (pearl and glitter) and definitely are something you may want to check out.

Physicians Formula wet dry baked eyeshadow trios. they are really really sparkly when applied dry, and more metallic (and intense of course) when applied wet. i usually have to wear a primer to keep anything from creasing, but when i put these on, i then watched a movie and went to bed forgetting about the "one-eye-done" shadow.
i slept on the side that they eye was done, and it looked the same when i woke up as it did when i put it on.
so not are they uber sparkly and /or shimmery, they last long too!
