L'Oreal True Match - combo skin?
I've bought a bottle of True Match in the past a long time ago and at the time can remember thinking it wasn't much good, mainly due to having oily skin.
My skin is more combo now (meaning it's either drier one day or oilier the next, never both at the same time lol, talk about awkwardness!). I was wondering if there are any girls on here with combo/oily skin that would recommend True Match and what shade you use? I'm Buff in the Colourstay Normal/dry version (slightly darker than the regular combo oily). I'm just sick of companies thinking that because someone is oilier skinned or combo, that we want a heavy foundation. Just because we have oilier skin doesnt mean we have worse skin! In fact my skin hardly ever breaks out! I've tried TM's but I find they always look patchy and uneven and have a bit too much moisture in them. I can't afford the Laura Mercier oil free TM but I know a lot of people would recommend that. I just think Colourstay is a bit too heavy for me personally and I love the texture of True Match, just not impressed with the lasting power when I have used it in the past!

Re: L'Oreal True Match - combo skin?
Ive been wanting to try the True Match stuff myself, and I have skin like yours, its oilier or drier on any given day. I use a powder right now, better for me when its warmer.
Anyway if you like the texture and everything of it, why not try it on top of a foundation primer, and top it off with powder, that should improve its staying power dramatically. I use Smashboxs foundation primer, I just have a sample, then some concealer on trouble spots, my powder, and I have a flawless face all day. Hope I helped any!!
