The Quest for the Holy Grail of Mascara

mascara! I have been searching for years it seems for the perfect one! Can anyone give me the name? I want a mascara that gives me the fullest, longest, biggest lashes I've ever seen, without clumping and flaking off! Please help me in my quest with the name of the mascara you love best!!!! and why!!!!

It used to be Clinique's high impact but they changed the brush. Now I just keep the brush and use any mascara and it gives me the same results.

Another I love is Rimmel's lycra lash.

YSL Faux Cils or Dejavu Fiberwig- LOVE them both!

The one that has worked the best for me has been Definicils by Lancome.

Max Factor Masterpeice! Gives me longer, volumized lashes. I think it might be called something different in the US. It's in a gold tube.

Re: The Quest for the Holy Grail of Mascara

~*~*~*~*~LANCOME FATALE~*~*~*~*~

I am all about big lush, and dramatic bold lashes. And trust me, I have spent TONS of money testing the "best of the best" in mascaras. I've done Diorshow, YSL, Chanel, Mac, and other Lancome brands and NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING can compare to Lancome Fatale! The applicator is a 3-D (three sided actually) comb, and grabs every lash. May take some time to experiment with when you first buy it, maybe two or three tries, but once you get the hang of it...voila! In one coat it grabs, conditions and coats every lash! And the comb seperates every lash so there are no clumps. What would take with other mascaras two or three coats top achieve, you can achieve with Lancome Fatale in one! Seriously, I will put my LIFE and SOUL on this that this is absolutely the BEST mascara ever invented to date!!!!! You will seriously look like you have fake lashes!

Re: The Quest for the Holy Grail of Mascara

I like dramatic results, so all of these recommendations are going to be for mascaras that give you xxL volume.

faux cils by YSL (i find that the normal formula works much better than the waterproof one), dior show by dior (not the blackout, the blackout barely did anything for me), and supernova by fresh. if you're looking for a more natural eyelash, i liked imju fiberwig (sold at sephora) it gave me some pretty natural looking volume and while it's not waterproof, when i cried or went swimming in it the fibers simply fell off my eyelashes instead of streaking down my face like ink.

Re: The Quest for the Holy Grail of Mascara

I have two favorites. Lancome Definicils and Prescriptives False Eyelashes. These are both my Holy Grail mascaras. The Lancome is great for lengthening and definition, the Prescriptives gives you great volume without flakiness or clumping.

Re: The Quest for the Holy Grail of Mascara

I absolutely love Diorshow but I'm not sure if I would call it my HG. It's by far my favorite right now but I haven't stopped lookin for another one.
