15 Recs for a good bronzer for fair skin!

There's probably already a post like this, but I couldn't find one. I have extremely fair skin, along with rosy cheeks from having rosacea. I've been using my mom's estee lauder bronzer for a while, but I really want a new one...i've been looking at benefit's and too faced bronzers and have had those in mind. I just don't wanna look fakey and orangey...any advice would be appreciated!

Re: Recs for a good bronzer..for FAIR skin!

NARS Laguna is a nice bronzer, not too shimmery. In the reviews I read, most pale people found it to be very natural and not orange-y.

I love Tarte's park avenue princess bronzer. I'm super pale and it looks great on me, I just apply it with a light hand.

Re: Recs for a good bronzer..for FAIR skin!

I have used Nars Laguna. and it was pretty good.... but Sugar tropic is wayy better! This bronzer is not orange at all! I love the color, this is a better everyday option. The nars is a little bit oranger, and a little darker, and a little easier to apply too much( so i don't recommend this if you are extremely pale, but if you want a really contoured/tanned look, or a good one or the night scene... this may be a good option for you)
either way, both are great bronzers. Just depends on what you want in a bronzer.

I am also quite fair with a lot of redness and I have found that Bare Escentuals line works well with my skin. I bought their starter kit and it has a bronzer called Warmth. You can easily control the amount of colour you want.

Re: Recs for a good bronzer..for FAIR skin!

Ive heard a lot of raves for Benefits Hoola, its matte and not at all orangey, I have tried it and liked it, and I am pale too. I like that its matte because then I can use a slightly shimmery blush above it and it doesn't look like overkill on my face lol.

I only use bronzer in the summer though, when I am not white as a ghost, and I personally like Bonnebell lol its super cheap and looks great, easy to build up how much color you want and not at all orangey.

probably not very popular in the USA, but the bronzing powder from doc hauschka is my absolutely fav! it also has some nice reviews on mua, perhaps you wanna check out?

also i like benefit hoola a lot, and for more shimmery moments i like the too faced pink leopard bronzer.

nice, i must try to get my hands on that bronzer.
i like the warmth from bare minerals, but i often put too much on my face, and easily look orangey, so it's not my favorite.

Geulain has some beautiful bronzers. There are two lighter versions. One is for blondes and one for brunettes. Heres a link so you can see them.

Re: Recs for a good bronzer for fair skin!

I absolutely despise anything that's remotely orange on my skin.. and that's why I've stayed away from bronzers for a long time.. until I tried out Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips in "Sunset Strip"!! Gives me an amazing golden glow, and you can adjust the color by mixing the different strips together. Use the lightest one for a gold highlight on top of the cheeks, and the darkest one for a bronzed contour of the face! I love it! BUT I have to warn you that it's very shimmery (not glittery), so if you prefer a more subtle effect you might want to look elsewhere, or use a DuoFiber brush.

Also, regardless of which one you buy, if you're very fair, you might want to invest in a Duo Fiber brush. I got mine from Lumiere and it works pretty well at keeping me from using too much color.

Re: Recs for a good bronzer for fair skin!

I like Physicians Formula as well. I have the same skin issues. I found out about this makeup bc I had tried so many--Avon, Almay, Maybelline, and I saw a review on Expotv.com and looked up bronzer and actually saw the people who were reviewing the product and what their skin actually looked like and it was a great way to gauge what I thought might work for me.
