Undereye concealer woe - nothing covers circles!
FOUND IT! Dermablend cream concealer (the one that comes in the little pot). Takes almost all the darkness away...
Too bad it's so expensive. Maybe I can find it online for cheaper. Quote:

Re: Undereye concealer woe - nothing covers circles!
2 suggestions that have worked for me (and my circles are pretty bad). Yellow concealer plus a concealer a little lighter than your skin tone on top of it. I use mineral makeup when I use this combination. Or have you tried prescriptives camoflauge cream concealer? I just got it and I love it! A good moisurizing eye cream might help too with the application of concealers. Hope that you can find something that works for you - it's such a pain!
Oh and less is more with concealers. Gobs doesn't always help ![]() |

I have tried two Prescriptives concealers...the one in the pot and the one in the tube. Same thing happened. If I try to use yellow concealer underneath anything, my undereyes dry up.
Like I said, I moisturize. I forgot to mention that I usually get a drying effect if I use a stick concealer. |

I'm sorry, that's worked for me. If you're having a problem with drying up maybe you need something even more moisturizing? A primer? Stick concealers are creamy and shouldn't be drying I don't think.
Good luck - I sympathize! |

Re: Undereye concealer woe - nothing covers circles!
What brands of salmon concealer have you used? I have very difficult to cover under eyes, and am having great success with salmon concealers instead of yellow. I just picked up a new concealer that I am going to try out today. If you see my picture in the regular makeup forum you will see that layering salmon with neutral had good success(I used L'Oréal), though my only disappointment was that it didn't last all day. I get longer wear with stick versus liquid. You may need to mix colors if you are having that much trouble.

Your skin looks pretty similar to mine (except mine is more yellow). Do you have heavy red circles? I will try layering the salmon.

Layer layer layer. It's what works on me and i have very dark cirles. Depending on the color i either use a peach or yellow concealor, (m.a.c's Select coverup is my fav because its builldable and it dries so it doesnt crease) then you put your skin color concealor on top and then foundation if you wear it. I also find that putting a primer after eye cream hepls TONS!! And dont forget, you will ALWAYS see the circles, even if noone else does. And, yes, less if more!

Re: Undereye concealer woe - nothing covers circles!
Tried something new yesterday. I used a Maybelline undereye highlighter and it seemed to help more than anything else. It's the one that is double-ended...I think it's the Age Perfect one? Anyhow, I used the highlighter and layered a liquid concealer on top. The circles are still pretty bad, but it helped a little and didn't look ridiculous.

I keep hearing bobbi's browns correctors get huge raves. at a bit pricey (20 bucks) but it might be worth it if you give it does what everyone else says it does

Yeah, I've seen 28375615 threads about the Bobbi Brown concealers...
I am a little weary of buying online, though. Shouldn't it be super hard to match the color because of discrepancies between monitors and whatnot? |
