MAC Carbon Dupe
It occurred to me that I should post this. I bought the L'Oréal shadow before my MAC Gentle Fume quad, and when I got my quad my first thought was that Carbon looks just like my Lush Raven. IMO they are both just as pigmented and work very comparably(I think the MAC blends just a bit easier though).

I thought Lush Raven was a DARK grey... And is it matte? I didn't buy it, but am always looking when I go to Target....
For me it's NYX black... |

i have both l'oreals black and nyx black and i love them both. I use l'oreals for my eyeliner everyday since i feel it looks more natural on me. nyx is darker i believe and literally looks on your fingers like burnt charcoal, i mean its really black so i prefer to save that for day when i want heavier eyeshadow. I loved l'oreals so much i bought two just in case

I also love NYX's Single Eyeshadow in Black. Very good pigmentation and it blends easily. Jane's Eyeshadow in Clubbing is another popular dupe for MAC's Carbon.

For the Canadian gals... Annabelle's 'Ebony' is a great dupe for MAC 'Carbon' - heavily pigmented and totally matte. All black is not created equal! Some look black but then apply a sheer grey *GRRR* but Annabelle 'Ebony' is the best I have found for under $5!
Annabelle also has a shadow called 'Carbon' and IMHO - it sucks. Navy glitter in black shadow. |
