I almost bought a banana plant last year. I heard that some banana plants, the fruit itself, is not for consumption and more for ornamental purposes. Does yours have edible bananas?
I like anything different or exotic.

Yeah, ours does give fruit, you just have to buy the right type, some are ornamental cause they fruit is way too small and dry and bitter, but ours will give real bananas
Ours is called Dwarf cavendish banana, cavendish is the brand that they sell at the stores, so the plant's name would be Dwarf Giant Banana Plant.

Wow, Nury. All that looks futurely delishious. Ha.
I wanna start my own veggie/fruit garden. My dad has hella crap in the back and front yard. I should take pictures on day...
The only thing that gives anything that taste fine is our lemon tree. Our orange and sour apple tree is gross to me.

Nury your garden is huge, very impressive! Karren I love the color of the last Clematis, too. Looks like gardens aren't doing too bad this year.

Great gardens everyone! I definitely don't have a green thumb. Every plant I try to keep dies.
Nury - I am so jealous! I love currants!! Yum. What will you do once your trees get really big?

We're growing purple, yellow and red potatoes Karren, although, they say the purple ones are called "blue potatoes" for some reason, they look more purple than blue to me haha, and they are purple on the inside as well, pretty odd looking but they are so tasty!
