Is It Christmas at Your House?
Did you start Christmas decorating I mean. I put up my tree and a few things. This will be my 1st year really living alone so I didn't put out as much and you can forget the outside lights. I usually decorate the 1st week of December but started early this year cuz Courtney moves out Friday and I wanted someone to look at my tree besides me

Re: Is It Christmas at Your House?
My boyfriend and I put up our little tree on Friday with a few little decorations. I was going to add some Christmas lights tonight or tomorrow.

Re: Is It Christmas at Your House?
I'm giving my daughter most of my stuff for her first home. Seems pointless to go all out just for me. there are a few sentimental things that I'll hold on to but she has to start from scratch.

Re: Is It Christmas at Your House?
I helped my mom get her Christmas tree this year and we got it all decorated. She was still in a decorating mood after I left so she continued with the rest of the house. As for my place, I bought a small silver tree from West Elm last year for $2. Yes..$2! It was a freaking steal and I will break it out this week and decorate it.
Here is a picture of it

Re: Is It Christmas at Your House?
I put my tree up and I already have the angel topper, the tree skirt, and my stockings but I haven't purchased any ornaments, yet. Hopefully, I'll do that sometimes this week. That's pretty much all I'm doing, though. I can't afford a lot of decorations, yet. That's the nice thing about having a small apartment, though; a little goes a long way.

Re: Is It Christmas at Your House?
OK. Ya'll are going to flip. This is Ashley's first year in her own home so she took most of the decorations----but ol' mom here is getting crazy. I think I will put traditional tree in den--butttttt in my bedroom-----if you have read my profile you know I love pink flamingos. (Kelly should get a laugh out of this!!!) I saw this small pink tree--then I saw a small lavender tree---then a white tree-OMG, I hate to admit this---I was in Gatlinburg at the Christmas Place this year and they had done a Pink Flamingo tree!!!!!!!!!!! So I bought one of each of those plus I have others that I have collected from past years. Now what color tree and lights should I go with????? Now in my bedroom---no visitors in there--so i am not embaressed---it looks soooooo feminine. I know. I will make an appointment for shrink eval tomorrow. LOL
