Container Gardening
About.com's Kerry Michaels says that even if you "think you have a black thumb or haven’t ever tried to garden? Container gardening is a great place to start. Even a complete novice can create a spectacular container. All you really need to get started is a container, some potting soil and either seeds or plants."
Great bang for your buck: You can use almost anything for a container. Space is not the final frontier: Even the smallest space can be enhanced by a container garden. Kids love it: My kids wouldn’t look at peas until they grew them and could eat them right off the vine. Something for everyone: With container gardening you can have great results being as relaxed or ambitious as you want to be.

Re: Container Gardening
carrots are always a great place to start.. they're easy and tasty. I'd always eat them before they were fully grown though, LOL

Re: Container Gardening
Yeah, Rosie!! And a tomato plant grows well in a pot... So does strawberrys... I've even grown potatos in a tall pot... Starting at the bottom... And adding soil as the potato grows... You end up with a pot full of potatos!!
Lol Adrienne!! Well if you'd spent less time on MUT maybe......... Never mind!!! Hahaha...... I have the same problem with my bigger garden and towards the end of the season the weed finally win.... And everything goes to seed...

Thank you Lisa
ill give all the credit this time to my husband, he is the one that has planted most of them and repotted them
I've only germinated a few of them and planted them, like the mint and mustard plants.
Sure you can come over for dinner Mag haha, if you can make it all the way to Canada just for dinner, ill be more than glad to have you over for supper
