Most people have a method when they clean. It's always done the same way, on the same day weekly, etc. So, I'm just curious as to who else has a method to their madness when cleaning their house? Also, are you partial to particular cleaning products? Mr. Clean Magic Erase is my HG cleaning item!!!Here's my cleaning routine, so to speak:

I clean the whole house top to bottom every Tuesday, and I do laundry on Saturdays. I start by dusting and polishing everything in the living room. Then I clean the bathroom (sink, toilet & then tub).

Next, I clean the kitchen (wiping down all appliances and knick-knacks), followed by the dining room. I sweep the bathroom into the kitchen, the kitchen into the living room, and then just vacuum the living room (for me it's easier?).

It always works out perfectly as I start cleaning when I lay Kylie down for a nap, and as soon as she wakes up, I'm generally at the part where I need to vacuum. Throughout the week I just keep up with everything and vacuum daily. We live in like a 900 sq. ft. rental house, so it's not very big. Before we had a two-story townhouse that was a pain to clean!

Aquilah, you seem to be so organized! I don't have a specific way of cleaning. I clean the kitchen and bathroom more often than the rest of the house, because they get used most and get dirty the most! I clean the kitchen countertops and sinks everyday after cooking. I sweep once a week. As for the bathroom...is my most hated part of the cleaning process. I try to assign that part of the work to my husband

1. i vacuum every day
2. i have to make all beds
3. i do laundry every other day
4. i try to get my hubby to dust once a week
5. we try to clean the washroom once every twoo weeks
6. in general, house must look tidy or i go bananas!

ditto. i really have to be in the mood. when i am, i just do whatever needs less cleaning so i can save "the best for last" lol

yah .. me too ... sometimes ... i end up going out though .. b4 i can finish the "best" part ....

wow ... i'd love to be like u .... i do laundry 2x a week ... it's just me and my bf though .. sometimes .. he does it for me..

We don't clean near as often as we should.... We do try to do the dishes every night, and we have to do laundry once a week so we'll have enough clothes to wear to work, but otherwise we just clean something after it starts looking dirty! lol (Sometimes a little too long after it starts looking dirty.... ewww.....)

We really ought to at least start cleaning our bathroom every weekend, I hate how gross it gets sometimes.... But we usually don't have time to do much cleaning (or anything else) during the week, and then we never want to spend our free time on the weekends cleaning!
