Does anyone sell on Ebay?
I have a bunch of stuff like unworn clothes etc.....I usually just give the stuff away but I had the bright idea to try and sell it on ebay. I just moved so I am broke and would really like to make some extra money just to get away to the beach even if it is for only one night. Do you think it is worth it to sell on Ebay??? can I make some extra cash? My bf has some stuff too.....

Re: Does anyone sell on Ebay?
Try it out. You could sell them all together or in seperate lots, or you could sell each piece individually. I've made some good money selling on ebay, but it's hit or miss. Do you have any consignment shops in your area? Like Platos Closet? You could try that. Or you could send me pictures and I might buy them. LOL

Re: Does anyone sell on Ebay?
I find it harder and harder to sell on ebay in the UK, especially with the fees going up and people expecting really low prices. I have now stopped selling on ebay for a while and might try amazon.

Re: Does anyone sell on Ebay?
Yeah, it's totally worth it. If it's in good condition and an OK brand, you can at least score $5 on it if nothing else. It's worth a try....

Re: Does anyone sell on Ebay?
It's more of a supply and demand thing. If it's name brand it'll more than likely sell for a good amount of money, especially if it's a common size. I usually don't sell clothes but I make good on handbags and they usually sell for more than retail since I buy them fairly new with tags on 'em but never used them. lol, but you'll never know. You could always start off with one or two auctions and see how it goes. If it does good, then start selling the rest off! A friend of mine bought a pair of Lucky Brand jeans for $55 (they were actually on sale cuz the original price was $108) I posted it for him and it sold for about the same price being that they didn't know it was on sale (haha)

Re: Does anyone sell on Ebay?
moria, you are talking my language!
about 3 years i gained enough weight that i could not fit into my clothes (it's life). so i was packing up a bunch of nice things for the D.A.V and thought, man, this is nice stuff and i wish i could make my money back. so i thought i would have a yard sale...no luck. then i went to one of those pay cash or trade store and they were going to rip me a new one...like 2 bucks for Banana Republic items that were in excellent shape. and it hit me, just like you, what about ebay.
i took some pics of items on hangers and listed them. i only sold items that i would be pleased to receive and i sold every item and made over $150! i was going to give it a way! then i started looking around the house to clean out stuff and i was selling left and right. before i knew it i had $1200.
this turned me into a shopper and i find items on clearance at stores and resale on ebay. i've make about an extra $3000-$4000 each year by doing this. it changed my life, seriously! it pays for my vacations or extra things i want without feeling guilty or taking away from my mortgage.
DO IT! even if you get $5 bucks, it's five more than you had!
TIPS: get paypal. open up to international markets. ship 2-3 day in US via USPS. if you have a scale, use paypal to pay for shipment and get label. paypal gives you free tracking and you will need it. i've been burned by not having it. if you get good at it, buy a shipping scale..i got one from ebay for $10.

Re: Does anyone sell on Ebay?
I have bought and sold on ebay. Just be careful....read some of the sales and you'll get an idea of how to post your sale, like a return policy, payment must be recieved by a certain time, etc. I have only come across one problem since I have been using ebay. I Love ebay

Re: Does anyone sell on Ebay?
I just had an interesting experence on Ebay. I distribute mobility scooters and I traded in a old faulty scooter. I was considering taking it to the tip. I though I'd put in set of old batteries and put it on Ebay. Well I started the action at 99c and it sold yesterday for $510.00. I was flabbergasted.
