How do you keep cool/warm?
during the warm months, how do you keep cool?
during the cold months, how do you keep warm?
during the cold months, in my apt., we use a heater, but we don't like to warm the place up too much, so we leave the windows cracked open a little or we just turn the heat off all together.
during the warm months, if it's 70 and below, we leave the windows open, but if it's more than 70, we turn the ACs on.

Re: How do you keep cool/warm?
Warm/Hot months
I try not to stay indoors too much during the summer cuz it gets so hot here, but if i am home, i either crack up open all the windows and doors ... or leave everything closed and turn on the AC
Winter months
- turn the heat to @ least 70 degrees all day everyday until spring
and even w/the heat on, i'm walking around the house dragging my huge blanket everywhere .... LoL .... o ... and drinking a hot cup of cocoa helps

Re: How do you keep cool/warm?
Summer: Pool
Winter: Blankets upon blankets
When I'm not doing either of those I'm probably at work.

During the warm months, how do you keep cool?
Chris freezes me out with the AC so i'm usually under a blanket of some sort like now with Mora.
During the cold months, how do you keep warm?
I have Chris and Mora to snuggle with & keep me warm.

Oh LOL, we have 4 seasons here as well, Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn. Yes I use the AC all year around to warm up and cooling down, it'll automatically change when the season changes. We also use Hot Carpet in the house to warm up the floor. We have bunch of heaters in the attic but we never use them since we have ACs in every corner of our house.

Re: How do you keep cool/warm?
warm/hot/humid: AC set at 21 degrees celcius or lower; i stay indoors as much as humanly possible; and take more showers!
cool/cold/freezing: heater on at 22 degrees celcius; blankets; socks and sweaters (but those come off real quick as i warm up fast).

Re: How do you keep cool/warm?
Summer - open the AC all the time and eat lots of ice cream, drink ice cold juice and eat refreshing fruits.
Winter - Not much of heater coz that gives me headache...use lots of blanket...wears my PJ all day and eat lots of soup...and coffee all the time.

Re: How do you keep cool/warm?
Um, just use the heater or AC, and dress appropriately for the season... nothing too exciting... I am a little leary of leaving our windows open on our first-floor apartment for security reasons...

The methane trapped under the covers doesn't keep you warm enough?
For myself, during the cold seasons, I walk around at home in my plaid flannel PJ's and thick wool socks - sexy, I know. Our heater sucks, because it gets too warm, so we try to use it as little as possible.
During summer, we use the AC, but if I'm somewhere without an AC (like work), I've been trying to imagine myself sitting on an ice-floe with my feet in the Arctic Ocean, telling myself that "the air is cool and breezy," exercising my mental powers. Hasn't worked so far, but I'm confident that with practice, it will happen.

Re: How do you keep cool/warm?
I don't have AC in my house... I know you must be wondering how I survive. I have ceiling fans and get a decent breeze most hot days but the past week it has been pretty awful. I actually used a spray bottle with cold water and periodically kept spraying the ceiling fan with it when I was having a hard time getting to sleep. Pretty budget. I am usually at work where the AC is cranked up and I freeze anyway. To be honest- while I really wish I had AC sometimes - I get sick from it and am usually always cold anyway so I really probably only miss having it 6 times the entire summer.
In the winter - we have heat but since our floors are not carpeted it gets cold. I wear ugg-style slippers and pile on the sweaters. I also drink a LOT of tea.

Re: How do you keep cool/warm?
Summer: I sit next to the freezer o/j but i used 2 when i was a kid id always open up the frezzer and jus sit there eating a ice lolly lol but usually i sit in the garden in the shade because i live next to a woods and u get a nice breeze.
Winter: i get a little fire heater out and snuggle up with a blanky. But if im outdoors its just the usual gloves and warm socks but i dont wear a scarf they annoy me.
