I fixed the dryer!!!! Kind of....
Well we all like to save money by doing it yourself.... and I love to tinker and fix things.... even it's it's not 100%... if it works, it works11 lol So I fixed the dryer last night....

but just to let you know GE does have a web site where you can order that stuff, unfortunately the shipping is a killer for the small stuff. just need the WSD..... model number. If you don't care about an exact match a local appliance repair store will have some knobs for you. back in college that was my summer job fixing that stuff and believe it or not people would make a service call for a broken knob or an air conditioner that doesn't work because it wasn't plugged in. (see they weren't as clever as you) The trick then was making the customer think that you were actually doing something for your $30 service call.

I actually put a few drops of Gorilla Glue on the handle and shoved it back on.. Let it set over night and it works like a charm.. I think I'm going to go out and buy my wife a new set here shortly... These are 15 years old and going down hill fast...
