Just seared some yummy steaks!!
OMG...I just had to share - I just seared some Petite Top Sirloin steaks that I marinated in a Filipino Barbeque marinade, garlic and a steak rub and it is soooooo good!! Perfecto!! And, I didn't overcook them for once!
Totally satisfied my craving..
I'm about 8 weeks preggy and craving iron and carbs!! Got some baked potatoes cooking in the oven, too! Yum yum!
My cravings are so weird...during the day all I want to eat is fresh citrus fruit and waffles!!
Anyway, gonna go enjoy dinner with the family! Hope you're all having or had a nice, nurturing dinner, too!!

mmm! steak...haven't had that in a while!
i'm filipina...so i'm interested to know what's in a filipino bbq marinade?
ooh! those cravings are killers! when i was pregnant with my second child, all i wanted was breakfast food! eggs, sausage, toast, waffles, you name it!

You probably know Mama's Best? That's the BBQ marinade we use for steaks. It comes in a yellow bottle...yum. I'm not Filipina, I'm Dutch-Indonesian, but my hubby is Filipino so my Mother-in-law teaches how to make all kinds of good stuff...adobo, pansit, ArozzCaldo (sp?), Tinola, Afritada (sp?), Pinakbet, Kare-Kare, etc. However, with this pregnancy I'm not craving any of them right now.
Oh, I how I do love Filipino Breakfast...Bagnus (sp?), Longanisa, Tocino...but, right now I'm craving plain buttermilk pancakes!!
