Swiffer Wet Jet yay or nay??

I thought about buying the Wet Jet for quick clean ups in betweeen washing the floors with a mop and bucket. I was wondering if anyone owns one of these and how good it is at cleaning up spots, stains? I figured it would be good if company is coming over and the floor needs a quick over. I have a coupon for $3.00 off so it would cost me $15.00 Canadian plus taxes. It comes with the solution and one or two? mop head thingy's that you dispose of. The cost to buy a set of 8 mop head thing's is $8.00 Canadian. Not sure if worth it?

Re: Swiffer Wet Jet yay or nay??

I have one, I love it for quick cleanups and spots and stains because the liquid and everything is there with a push of a button..
And I just don't really like getting down on my hands and knees with a rag.. or getting a mop and pail for a little quick thing.

However.. for anything more than a quick clean, I recommend just your regular mop. If there's lots of dust and dirt, the wetjet just kind of pushes it around.. haha

Thumbs up Re: Swiffer Wet Jet yay or nay??

I agree with Dee
Its great for small quick clean ups, but not an all out mop.
For the price, I would recommend it.

Re: Swiffer Wet Jet yay or nay??

I have a wet jet and it works ok but like everyone else said it does just push around alot of dirt and also i have spilled a soda all over the floor and wiped it up with some paper towels and then used my wet jet and it still left the floorl very sticky...thats happened with a few things that i've spilled on the floor too (im clumsy!!)! Anyways...thats my two cents!!! Let us know what you think if you buy one!!!

Re: Swiffer Wet Jet yay or nay??

Here is my two cents. I use it on regular basis. I don't like going down on my hands and knees and WetJet is perfect for me. It does not leave streaks and cleans the room very well. The only problem is when you reach your final corner, it cannot pick up all the crumbs and dirt. So you have to bend down with the WetJet pad to scoop up all the dirt.
The actual cleaner bottle is sold seperately. I find that the pad does a great job to scrub the floor for basic dirt/stickiness.
