Re: Turkeyless Thanksgiving?

No, it will be turkey, but Mitzel's will be preparing it, and cleaning up afterward. Just the two of us home for Thanksgiving now and it is so much easier.

Re: Turkeyless Thanksgiving?

I celebrated in October and we had chicken, stuffing, gravy, green beans, mashed potatoes and homemade bread and butter.

Re: Turkeyless Thanksgiving?

We have a lot of vegetarians/vegans on here, so it'll be interesting to see what they had! As for us, we're having turkey!

Re: Turkeyless Thanksgiving?

We go traditional but my uncle always bring a honeybaked ham along. I am still full and we ate at 1pm.

Re: Turkeyless Thanksgiving?

I'm mostly vegetarian so I don't eat turkey, I just eat all the sides (dressing/stuffing is my favorite!) Yesterday I worked and Thanksgiving dinner was catered and it was not good at all, so I'm thinking about making a dinner of Thanksgiving-type side dishes sometime soon even though it'll be after Thanksgiving.

Re: Turkeyless Thanksgiving?

my stepdad's sister brought ham, we also had turkey (I love turkey b/c I rarely have it), and oh my lawd my mom makes the best gravy to put on it, green beans, peas, potatoes au gratin, cranberry jello with whipped cream, a bunch of pies, and banana cake (I got the recipe on here) that my fiance made (I overslept so he had to make it). I dont know why we had so many desserts, there werent many people
