I know this might be a random question, but how many times do you wear your clothes before washing them? Is there a rule of thumb for like certain garments of clothing?

For me, I wear my clothes twice before washing them.

I wash all my day clothes (work, out, wherever) every time I wear them. Sleep clothes I'll go a couple of nights.

tops and leggings I'll wear once, trousers/jeans/skirts and nighttime wear, I'll wear twice unless they get stained after being worn only once.

I wear everything once except for jeans. I might wear jeans maybe twice.

I wear things once and then they get washed. Clothes don't fit as nicely if you wear them consecutively.

Eh it depends. I'm the type of person where I'll get all dressed up to go somewhere stay gone for 2 hours and I come back and put my pjs on. I can't stand being dressed in normal clothes when I'm home I'm always in sweats or shorts and a tank or hoodie or something. So if I've only wore something for such a short time, I'll wear it again before I wash it. If I've wore something all day I'll wash it before I wear it again. I usually wear jeans and hoodies and stuff a couple times before I wash them. Now as far as certain dresses and sweaters and stuff I own that are delicate or have to be dry cleaned I sometimes where them a few times before washing them because washing them too much will damage them, or I can't be going to the dry cleaners all the time.

Like what Kaylin Marie said, it depends on how long you wear the clothes too! Whenever I'm at home, I like to be in pj's too!

Like if it's a hot day, I'll wear it only once. Dresses that you wear out for like an evening event, I'll wear once.

Jeans I can wear twice.

shirts, underwear, and socks: once
jeans and sleepwear: at least 3-4 times
others like dresses or work clothes: once

I wear everything once except jeans and 'heavy' clothing like that - some jackets and jumpers, denim garments etc - I wear them twice or 3 times unless they've been stained.

Jeans and sheets -- two or three times;
Pajamas, bras, and towels-- once a week;
Sweaters, dresses, formal wear, and stockings -- hand wash or dry clean once a season;

I wear most of everything once except for Jeans (which I can wear multiple times because it just feels better like that) and PJ's which i wear about twice or three times since I only put em on when I get old before going to sleep.
