I'm assuming this is referring to the insects and not White Anglo-Saxon Protestants. lol!

lol! Well, it certainly would be funnier if it was about White Anglo-Saxon Protestants! lol!

I wonder how well these things work? I'm terrified of anything that even remotely resembles a bee (including wasps).

You hang the fake nest up on a tree branch, underneath a patio umbrella etc. Apparently wasps are quite visual and will not build a nest if they see a potential competitor (another nest) and will take off. Something to do with territory.

I hate them as well. I have a severe reaction to the stings and the wasps get bad here later in the summer.

I may buy one soon. It's suppose to work.

I never heard of that, Shelley!! Pretty neat... We have those fancy jars with the holes on the bottom that you fill with orange juice... Don't work that well....

Re: Waspinator (perfect for keeping wasps (insects) away!)

Karen I was going to buy one of those containers you fill with juice, traps the wasps. But the thought of cleaning out dead wasps when it gets full creeps me out, lol.

I think this week I will look for the waspinator and give it a try.

Re: Waspinator (perfect for keeping wasps (insects) away!)

i'd give this a try. my parents have an old barn in the back and it has tons of wasp. now with the heat they come out more often and we can't even go in the back yard comfortably for fear of getting stung
