What did you cook/bake today?
Ladies, lets talk about food and cooking.
Todays dinner I made a chingensai (Japanese spinach)+ carrot and beef fried with Japanese wakame (seaweed) potato soup for 5 people.
I will post the pics next time.

MMM, that sounds delish, Leony!!
It's only 11:30 so all i've "cooked" today was waffles in the oven. Last night I made cheesy enchilada casserole and will be having the leftovers for lunch today. I don't know what i'm going to cook for tonight.

Re: What did you cook/bake today?
Great thread!
Right now I am cooking Roasted Chicken (lay the chicken on a bed of sliced onions, put lemon slices, fresh garlic and fresh thyme inside the chicken, rub butter on the top of the chicken along with salt and pepper, and add 3/4 cup of chicken broth to the pan) I am also making mashed potatoes with chicken gravy, stuffing, corn, garden salad, and for dessert cheese cake, and double chocolate cake.
Today I am celebrating Easter with my husband and family, the reason is because my husband is leaving tomorrow for India (business trip) and will be gone until April 29th, so since he will be gone for Easter, I decided to surprise him.
I have been a very busy girl. But not to busy to surf the net in-between cooking stuff.

Re: What did you cook/bake today?
Lol, I thought no one will be interested to reply this thread haha.
Honestly I don't like cooking so I made this thread to make myself love doing it lol.
I don't know what I'm going to make for the dinner tonight. I'll think of something. It's hard to cook with 5 people in the house special with old man and kid lol.
They dislikes many foods.. arghh!

My hats off to you Leony! I know you'll do a fantastic job!
..and how lucky your family is to have someone to cook delicious meals for them. I looks forward, like everybody, to the pictures. I haven't visited this forum for awhile b/c of the new diet I have been trying...and trying to figure out what is good for me to eat and not..but I'm easing my way back into it.
