Can't download profile picture

i have tried many times, but it keeps saying file image not valid. it's the right size, so what gives? go easy on me ladies-i'm not exactly what you would call a computer wiz!

What type of file is it?

I believe if you right click the image and click on "properties" it should say "JPEG image" or something similar..hope that helps

all i see is "p13.image" does this help?

Hmmm, that doesn't tell you the type of file....does it say "type of file"?

No!! I just don't know another way to tell...let me fiddle on my computer a bit and I'll post again...I wish I could be more help...

Doesn't sound to me as though it's a supported image. The best bet is .JPEG, .JPG or .GIF. You should be able to either put your mouse over the file name to see what kind it is, or right-click and go to properties. That will help determine what type of file it is.

i just figured out the problem. for some reason, the pictures from my digital camera all say "p13.image" all other pics don't. i guess i can't use pics from my camera? anyway, you like me and maury?!

Do you have a graphic program? You can always resave the pictures in a different format to be able to use here.

i don't think so. i am still kinda new to the whole computer thing(self taught), so i still have a lot to figure out. my dad's girlfriend came over and set me up with a whole lotta programs and stuff, but i'm still not sure what some of it is. when i have time(not tonight) i'm gonna play around and see if i can figure it out. at least you gus have a small idea what i look like now! thanx for your help!
