i have a couple. one i travel with and one that stays at home. they're both by gigi. i really like the travel one because it's small and compact. only one setting and the wax heats quickly. the one at home takes longer to heat up. it's an older model. i don't think they even sell it anymore.

i don't see why you couldn't, unless it's plastic! that could be a problem because the warmer heats the wax on all sides and i'm sure it would melt right through plastic.
