We all have our can't-live-without beauty products, be it that fail-proof mascara or that hair-saving frizz-fighter. But have you ever wondered about the secret must-haves that make up other women’s beauty arsenals? We polled top makeup, skin care and hair companies to find out what their best sellers really are. What we found? Some usual suspects…and a few hidden gems!
Body: Moisturizer

Knowing all the products in Vaseline’s arsenal, we were intrigued to find that the Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Body Lotion with Vitamin E is the top seller. Must be the yummy chocolate scent—a guilt-free treat! $4 at drugstores
Body: Liquid Soap

The tiny pink beads in Johnson's Soft Wash Gentle Exfoliating 24 Hour Moisturizing Wash remove dry skin to improve radiance. $5 at drugstores
Body: Bar Soap

Fans are devoted to the soothing moisturizing lotion in Dove's Beauty Bar. $2.50 for two bars at drugstores
Scent: Perfume

Euphoria by Calvin Klein (which has both fruity and floral notes) is the hottest seller for manufacturer Coty Inc. Pretty amazing, when you consider that Coty put out more than 40 fragrances this year! $40 for 1 oz at sephora.com
Nails: Polish

We weren't shocked to see that two neutrals, Essie's Mademoiselle ($8 at essie.com), by far WD staffers' favorite, and Sally Hansen's Color Quick Fast Dry Nail Color Pen in Clear Opal ($7.95 at drugstores) top the list. But we triple-checked OPI's best-seller Lincoln Park After Dark ($8.50 at) opi.com). This rich, deep plum shade truly is their number-one!
