Does self tanner go bad? I've a bottle for about 8 months that I haven't used and I don't want to use it if it's gonna make my skin look weird cause it's too old.

I think so... I know when I had an estee lauder one, the expiration date was a year after purchase date.

Check for the expiry date, if its not expired yet, you can use it. However, I did read that once opened, self tanners should be used within 6 months, if not, they'll turn bad. Not sure if this is true, but I've never used self tanners that are opened past 6 months.

They do eventually. It should have an expiry date somewhere on the bottle.
That's only a round about estimate though. It really does depend on the conditions you keep it in. If it's been somewhere warm then it will need throwing away sooner that if you'd have stored it somewhere cold.
