Ever heard of a pumice stone breaking ?
Is it even possible ? Apparently, it is. Mine broke recently, so now i'm left with two little pieces. Mind you, it was old and used a high number of times, but i liked it It was from the brand Scholl, now i'm wondering if it was a "real" stone, i thought pumice stones were, well, hard as a rock.
Here's a pic i found googling :

Yeah, I've had one break too. It didn't seem very hard to begin with. I had no idea pumice stones were supposed to be really hard!

Re: Ever heard of a pumice stone breaking ?
Pumice stone is extremely porous, i had a real pumice stone and it broke into pieces, the ones that they sell at the stores are not usually the real thing. Pumice isn't hard as a rock actually, it is quite brittle, and its super light.

Re: Ever heard of a pumice stone breaking ?
I've dropped mine, and it sounded like glass hitting glass. No idea if it's real or not, and I don't even know where the bad boy is anyway LOL! Needless to say, I was pretty careful with it after that for fear it would shatter.
