I usually use vaseline, and it does help.

Re: How to stop a shaving nick from bleeding

i have this alum stick i got for like $2 in a drug store (a pac. northwest one called bartells, but im sure theyre else where too) in the men's section.
its for shaving your face, so it looks like a pen and is small in a little plastic case.

its awsome (although it stings a little after the first initial contact with the freshly shaven skin)!

Re: How to stop a shaving nick from bleeding

I've only used cold water to stop the bleeding. Gotta try the other great tips next time!
