do you know of any where i can get clothing like hers or anything like that?? even if i have to make the clothing myself...im super short so its hard for me to find clothes....

We have a store here that sells stuff on consigment and sells "vintage" clothing. If you have a store like that where you live that is the only place that I can think of. Good luck in your search.

What I'd do is a search on ebay for Marilyn Monroe under clothing category. They usually have a lot of "inspired-by" stuff. Hope that helps and good luck!

ebay! i get my vintage clothes from ebay! antique and thrift stores....
estate auctions. it all depends on how much you wanna spend. go to thrift stores of towns that have lots of old people. at least these are my personal little secrets (i wear a lot of vintage).

Along with dressing the part, you really should take on her "aura". Sometimes just having the mannerisms of the person is the best way to imitate them.

if you could find some of those old vintage dresses like she wore..that is always what i think of when i think mm. yeah, vintage and thrift stores are your best bet, you might have to do some diggin/searching though.

ohh and I dunno where to look for cutie clothes l,ike that. I would say you can get classic looking pieces and then look for cuts that are simular to what you want. Gap has lots of Marilyn inspired stuff I'd say... in the fall especially. Also Banana Republic might too. Best of luck to you! Soul Marilyn sister! :0)

Stop Staring makes really good vintage reproductions, but they can get a bit pricey. You can sometimes find really good deals on their clothes on eBay though, it's worth a look.

I Also LOVE MArilyn! My room is totally Marilym (if you look at my DTB's you can usually see one or 2 in the background LOL)
