Do you wear a uniform to work or school?

How do you make it fashionable and give it your own individual style?

At work, I wear the infamous CHANEL uniform shirt (a black top with three-quarter length sleaves with a small CHANEL logo underneath the neckline) and a long, black blazer with chintzy pearl buttons that I only wear when I'm cold. To give it a little style, I choose a black skirt (basic black...just above the knee) and pair it with funky, sexy stockings (fishnets, florals, strips, etc.) and great heels. It kills my feet to wear heels all day but it's worth it to wear something different (and a little bit sexy) everyday.

Re: Do you wear a uniform to work or school?

About forty year ago I worked a couple of years aa a waitress. Our uniform consisted of a white short sleeve top, black shorts, black hose, and white pumps. Well the tips were good, between the pinches on the ass.

Re: Do you wear a uniform to work or school?

i have never really had a job with a uniform nor did i ever attend a school with a uniform... my only restrictions have been dress codes.
My closest dress code has was an apron I had to wear for a coffee place I worked when i was 18.
Some days, though, I wish I had a dress code. I get frantic when i cant find anything to wear.

Re: Do you wear a uniform to work or school?

When I was in school I had to wear a uniform, pretty much most schools in Australia have a school uniform, whether it's a public or a private school.

I also wear a uniform for work, I work in a day spa, so all therapists are required to wear a uniform. We can wear either a black or white tunic, with black pants.

Here is the style of tunic we wear for warmer weather:

and our one for colder weather:

Re: Do you wear a uniform to work or school?

I've worked at two places where the uniform rule was enforced: 1. Target - khakis and a red shirt. 2. A movie theater/restaurant (the type where you're waited on in the movie theater) - All BLACK! Black shoes, black pants, black shirt. So that we would be "invisible" to the customers while the movies were playing. *sigh* So to answer your question...I didn't make EITHER of those things fashionable or in style!!!

Re: Do you wear a uniform to work or school?

I've only worn uniforms for school (all schools in Singapore have uniforms) but not for work.
