After waiting 2 weeks(!!!) To get my package, when it says 5 days, the first time..I thought that it was just a hold up. I ordered again 2 weeks ago and JUST got it today! On top of that they sent me the wrong color pants!! And they didn't even send me a slip that says what I ordered verifying it either..they did the first time but I checked the whole bag and nothing there! So I cant even return the pants. It's okay, I mean I was going to eventually order them in white, but I wanted the blue ones..so that every single thing that came wasnt white! I have the email that states I ordered them in blue so I know I didn't make a mistake.

I still love their clothes, but their company is sucking. It's supposed to be great quality everything because it's all done in LA and not sent over in some sweat shops in china, and you'd think theyd also be good at reading the correct color and shipping in a decent time frame! Nope. Not even a packing slip.

I will embarassingly still buy from them, because I love the clothes a lot, but this is just annoying!

Just thought i'd give you all a heads up. The big reason I hate waiting 2 weeks is because I work part time and get paid bi-weekly. I only get like 200 every two weeks and I ususally spend it online for clothes or makeup. Well I don't like to wait the entire time until I get paid again to get my stuff! I have nothing to play with in the mean time, haha.

Good news is I get paid today, and i'll be buying makeup that should come in a decent time frame!

Send them an email to contact them Mindy and tell them the inconviences that you have had with them and also show them the one where it shows that you had ordered the blue pants instead of the white ones, you can always explain to them that you will keep them cause you still like them but that you are hoping that it doesnt happen again! You are paying for your orders so they should send you what you ordered or at least tell you that the item that you ordered is out of stock and they will be sending you another color of your choice or something like that or another item to replace it i dont know, there are other options!
that would really piss me off >.<

Wow, I'm sorry they're so unprofessional, Mindy! I'll have to keep that in mind seeing as how I've been wanting to buy from them.

I just emailed them. This is what I wrote, and they should respond back in a few days.

I have ordered from american apparel a few times in a month or so. I noticed that it takes an unusual ammount of time to come, as with other companies they get here in under a week. It has taken 2 full weeks for both my orders to get here when it says 2-5 days. Thats not even really the problem, although it can get kind of annoying. I ordered a pair of blue straight leg yoga pants with an order of a few other things, and when it got here they werent blue, but white. I checked my confirmation email and it says I did order the blue ones, so I didn't make the mistake. Im not going to return them because it's a hassle that I don't want to take and the white ones are okay. I still love american apparel and will continue to buy from you but I am kind of bummed at the service so far. I don't mind waiting 2 weeks for something I really love but it just takes forever, and I hope I don't get the wrong color of something again. Also I did not recieve a packing slip to return the pants anyways, even if I wanted to. I got one in my last order, and I think I got one sent to me a few days later as well..so maybe this one is coming soon too, but I find that kind of odd.
