American Eagle thread
Post your opinions on this store. I loveeeee it! Great fitting jeans and plenty of sizes in all their clothing. The perfect laid-back preppy look is what this store provides. As well as aiding in providing many other looks. =)

Re: American Eagle thread
I haven't shopped at American Eagle at least 10 years, so I'm not much of a help! Although, now that I look at their website, they've got some killer summer attire. Unfortunately, I'm just not up for pay $48 for a pair of Capris.

I'll check them out at the end of the summer then! I'm pretty well stocked on winter apparel. I actually just got rid of two trash bags full of winter clothes. Summer is another story!! I think September may be a good time down here.

Re: American Eagle thread
ive gone in there several times, but the clothes just are so so plain and so expensive. i can find the same stuff (and cooler more unique) in a thrift store. but thats just my opinion.

Re: American Eagle thread
Too casual for me too. I ocasionally go in there to look for jeans but I'd rather pay the same price for nicer jeans at Nordstroms. Just my opinion. :-)

Re: American Eagle thread
I'm not a fan of AE. A lot, and I mean A LOT, of people shop there at my school (our mall is pretty pathetic, this, the Buckle, and PACSUN are the most popular stores for highschool kids), and they all show up wearing the same things everyday. I think it's funny. Anyways, the only things I have from there are gifts from my sisters. I like them because they are nice basics that don't scream AE. For the most part, I find their clothes to be poorly made (their t-shirts fall apart easily, and the jeans rip easily). I like the styles of lots of things in there, but I know if I buy, 50 girls at school will have the exact same thing, and I really don't like wearing the same outfits as everyone else.

Re: American Eagle thread
i think some of their stuff is cute but i'm really tall so the shirts are too short for me and the jeans aren't cut right to my curvy bum..
soooo i WOULD like it if i was about 5-7" shorter and rail thin lol

I see where you're coming from. I go to a Catholic school with minimal seats. We wear uniforms, but on no-uniform days, a lot of people are decked out in Aero so I don't have to worry about others wearing the same thing as me. There are a few other girls who like AE, but their taste and mine are different. ON THE OTHER HAND.. the public middle school in town! Oh my.. they all wear Abercrombie, AE, or Hollister and everything I have from those 3 stores I'm sure people have at the public middle school!
