Boots... Please Help!!

I would like to find a pair of *comfortable* boots in a dark brown, light brown, and black. Here are the requirements:
*mid-calf or knee height
*round toe
*zip on, not pull on
*chunky heel (not stiletto), not too high though
*pricewise, no more than $119 a pair (particularly if I'm buying 3 pair)

I am an instructor, and am therefore on my feet all day long. If I could find one pair of boots from a brand, I would buy one in each color to wear. Any help would be nice. If you can, post the brand, a picture, and the price. Thanks!

Thanks! I've shopped there before, and my only worry is that the shoes won't be comfortable. I don't trust the testimonials anymore because the last three pair I bought on zappos in which people said were comfy ended up being incredibly uncomfortable shoes!

I have diabetes, so I have to wear comfortable shoes (for health reasons), so if boots are uncomfortable, I throw them away or donate them. So, I consider myself an amateur expert on judging shoe comfort. I have had a pair of Naturalizer boots for three years now, and they are so comfortable I feel like I'm walking around in slippers. I can definitely vouch for their comfort, and next time I go shopping for boots, I'll look to Naturalizer first. They have lasted through countless snow storms, I've never fallen on ice when wearing them, and they were nicely priced. Their website has a decent selection of boots for this year, and many match your above criteria. If you want selection, check out the Easy Spirit website, they had lots of shoes in a lot of styles. I've never bought their boots in the past, because the style selection was limited, but it looks like this year they've gone all out. I can tell you they make some "wear them 18 hours and they're still comfy" shoes. I've recently become addicted to the amazing comfort of Hush Puppies shoes, but the website only had two boot styles (but the one met your above criteria). Aerosoles is also an option, but they seem to be doing a whole lot of wedge boots this year. And in my opinion, wedges aren't too comfortable to stand in all day. There are a lot of options from all four companies, so checking their websites should give you a few options.

I only wear cowboy boots when I wear boots, lol. I dont wear them a lot, but I do to country concerts and clubs, we also have a lot of events here that you dont look like a total hick if you wear them, in fact, you fit in. I need some new brown ones, I have had mine for around 12 years and they look bad now. I love the Frye western style ones, but they are really expensive. Maybe for Christmas. A lot of celebrities wear those.

Re: Boots... Please Help!!

I saw a pair of boots you might like at Sears the other day (though I don't see them on Sears' website) and I *loved* them. Knee-high, rounded but slightly pointed toe, wide but not super-chunky heel .... exactly the kind of boot I'm looking for, not too chunky but not too skinny of a heel! They looked EXACTLY like the pair of $25 boots I bought at Payless last year (which are already getting worn so I am looking for a replacement) but the ones at Sears were $90 I would pay up to $50 for a pair of boots but $90 is just insane on my college student budget! Although if they last for several years, that would be no different than buying a pair of $25 boots every year, but $90 is still a lot of money for me! Normally I buy at least 3 articles of clothing for $90!

Re: Boots... Please Help!!

Update: I bought a pair of Aerosoles "walk this way" brown boots. If I like them, I'm going to go back and get the black ones. Here's a picture:
