How often do you all clean out your closet........................... I have clothes from five yrs six yrs ago I want to clean out my closet and start all over again and buy a whole new wardrobe well almost

twice a year. I keep clothes for about 2 years, but I weed out the unwearables every 6 months. If I haven't worn something for 2 years, it needs to go. If it's really good, I'll keep it for about 4 years. I work in the apparel industry, so I'm usually able to replace the basics fairly easily.

I just cleaned my closet yesterday and I threw out about ..hm..5 shirts at least.. I try to clean my closet about once a year or 2 times a year.

I weed out the old/unwearable/no longer desirable things in my wardrobe every year, I guess. Of course, I cheat because I take things that I think I "just might wear again someday..." and put them in a box behind everything else. So... they're gone, right? Not quite, because then I go into that box a year or two later and pull something out that I previously hated and start wearing it again. Strange, I know. I just can't seem to let things go

i hardly ever clean mine out...and i need to! once or twice a year is a good policy to follow...that's hard for me though because i'm such a packrat.

I clean my closet out about every year or two -- basically, whenever I notice that I have several items that no longer fit or I am no longer wearing because they're out-of-date! Then I round up a few bags of clothes for goodwill!

I've also moved several times in the last few years, so I also clean out the closet before each move so I have less to pack!

I try to clean out my closet at least twice a year and take the clothes to a few places around town that will give you money for them or store credit. I usually take the store credit so i can get more. It's higher end thrift store, I love it.

I clean my closet when stuff stops fitting haha! I have had the same little style for years now. I follow the trends somewhat - but not enought so that I have to clean out the closet very often.

Hardly ever since I don't have a lot of clothes that don't fit... Although, I do have a nice pile I need to get rid of... Unless they fit again since I recently lost almost 10 lbs.!

whenever I want to buy a bunch of new stuff. keeps me fresh and edited! :-) I have a full closet, so I have a rule, if something goes in, something comes out.

My closet is a mess and I'm so lazy to clean it up.
It's full of things I never wore and won't wear.
