I'm always fascinated by the way little details can make such a big difference to a shoe. These Costume National pumps, for instance, have a heel that continues up the shoe just a little higher than normal, but the effect is of a heel that looks impossibly high. It's actually 4", which, although high enough, isn't out of the ordinary. As a high heel fan, I love the skyscraper effect, and the grey/green mix is appealing, too. These are $604 at Zappos.

if the heel was lower and the green was more forest less turquoise then yes, I would wear them. I like the grey and the shape, but the heel is way too high

I like the colors of the shoe, but the heel is too high for me.
