I have 2 major problems limiting where I can buy tops (as far as bottoms go, I wear jeans 99.9% of the time...and I'll tackle that later):
1) a super tight budget (like, $10-$20 for a shirt, $20-$30 for a sweater), and
2) I am super super tiny, so few places carry size that fit me.
Previously, I mainly shopped at Aeropostale (xs) b/c it was one of few brands with clothes that fit me & super affordable...but I really don't like the clothes that much, and the quality isn't too good.
My current fave, F21 (also xs), fits the 2 criteria but a lot of the stuff is too trendy for me, lol...I'm more simple & conservative (but not, like, boring. I'm still very girly, I love pastels, esp. pink...just that I'm conservative with styles i wear). I can find some stuff there...
Stores that don't work:
American Eagle usually runs too big and/or long, and its rarely on sale.
AF & hollister usually fit but are way too expensive, and everyone in my school shops there so I look like a clone.
Gap women's--I sometimes can fit into their XS but I bet tons of teachers shop there too, and wouldn't it be a nightmare to own the same thing as a teacher?!
Old Navy women's--runs even bigger than Gap.
Most kids stores dont work either--if width-wise it fits well enough (not loose) it will be too short
For reference I'm 15 (sophomore in HS), Asian, 5'1", 85 lbs. (I'm definitely not scary skinny as my weight might suggest! I have small bones and my "frame" is very narrow...still small & childlike, kwim?)
Any ideas????? I need some simple long-sleeved tees, hoodies, & sweaters for fall........
Thanks in advance
