General question re purses

Hi all, just popping in to ask a question. I'm one of those crazy people that never change purses. I will carry the same purse until it falls apart. I know, that is a big faux pas, right? I usually get black or neutral-toned purses since I never change them.
This weekend, I saw a purse and fell totally in love with it. Its really great and its really RED!!! I bought it. If I carry this everyday, how much damage am I doing to my image? Big A** FAUX PAS? Mild, or what? I really love this purse.

if you like it .....get it!!! you could use it as your regular purse, just switch if it clashes with your outfit!!!!

Red is hot right now, so as long as it doesn't clash with whatever you're wearing you should be fine.

I see nothing wrong with using it on a regular basis... But I agree about switching it out if it'll clash with our outfit!

i'm one of those folks that changes purses with each outfit, so i not going to be much help in this situation. i say carry the red one when your feeling extra hot & sexy and purchase a couple of not to expensive ones for everyday. i find cute bags at the local flea market for $20 and save my prada for special occasions! jmho

Aww, I'm glad you bought it! Red will pop out, ecspecially if you wear a lot of neutral clothes like jeans! I wanna see a pic too! I'm a purse fanatic!

I agree with the others, as long as it doesn't clash, it will be fine!

While I have a couple of purses, I almost always carry either my black or my brown one. I'm too traditional and I can't bring myself to carry a black purse with brown shoes or vice-versa

But I do try to plan my outfits so I switch my purses as few as times as possible -- like wear black shoes/pants 3 days in a row, then brown and khaki for 2 or 3 days, lol So I know what you mean about not wanting to switch purses too often!

I say get the red purse if you love it. I have 2 red purses and I use them all the time. I wear a lot of neutral colours (black, grey, cream, beige) so the red is a great accent and will make the outfit "pop".

You can find some great deals on purses on eBay.

I totally agree here. There is absolutely nothing wrong with owning an "everyday" red purse. Just as long as you feel good with it on your shoulder!
