NEW YORK, September 15, 2006 – Is Gwen Stefani the Tory Burch of the downtown crowd? Both hired the MisShapes to deejay their presentations, and both presented heaps of cool items that their fans will want to snap up come spring. Dressed in a long, languid black gown with trademark leopard print at the sleeves, Stefani talked about her touchstones for spring, chief among them being Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface. That explained all the blond-wigged models. Jamaican Rude Boy attitude and "global-inspired" prints, referencing Guatemalan, Indian, and Japanese textiles, rounded out the list and kept things from getting too high-concept, though. Tracksuits (one had a side stripe that read, "Are you L.A.M.B. enough?") were surefire hits, as always, but the long evening looks were attractive, too. A new line of bags—some ladylike in blue and white, others with a red, yellow, and green ombré pattern—and footwear—from "disco" shoes to L.A.M.B.-emblazoned boots—accessorized the show. Overall, Stefani's spring line (developed with Zaldy Goco), was kicking.

I love gwen too but I'm not liking this collection of clothing.. I just cant see people walking down the street wearing those clothes.

I actually like it, although some of the pieces were questionable but in general it was a good collection. But nothing wow. Seems that Gwen is toning it down a bit.

I really like Gwen = not so much her designs though! The shoes are really awful!

Her LAMB collection is still relatively new, so I think she and her team are still in the experimental stages. Also, for a newbie like her, I think she was smart to put in some *out there* designs, otherwise she would get any of her stuff noticed. And yeah, she does have the celebrity "star power" to help boost it initially, but that is not enough to sustain a business for continued success. I really hope she does become a maintstay, I would like to see her succeed in this hard business.

I love all of it and I'd wear it all if I could, but I know that most of it would not flatter my figure.

I'm lovin #24, 27, 34, and 44. Those are the ones I could wear.

I feels like old Verscae mixed with Gwen's old style and some of her new style. I think it wasn't executed very well honestly. I'm pretty dissapointed, I love Gwen but I think this is a disaster, there was only one item that I cared for and it was the safari jacket and that's been done beofre too, and better. It also kinda cheapened the whole look to put all the models in wigs, it's not even the wigs, but the fact that they were extremely bad wigs and it's so "Donatella" 5 years ago.

Most of it is unwearable for most of the population, but some stuff is cute. Like the stuff the Maja and Melissa pointed out.
