HELP! What to Wear?

I have a problem. I bought a knit dress from dELiAs (pic below) and have nothing to wear with it. Can you girls give any suggestions?

Here's the dress:

I thought about a cute collared shirt and some flats would look cute. This dress is actually shorter on me than what it looks like. Mind you, I'm a 5'3 frame and the dress stops right above my knees. Any color suggestions would be nice.

I think a black top and maybe tights and boots would be cute.

Is that a dress that you have to wear a shirt under? I think a bright yellow bracelet, and a bright yellow necklace would be a cool contrast.

I was gonna say something along those lines. I thought maybe a bright yellow headband would be cute.

If it were me I'd probably wear a gray knit l/s top underneath, gray knit headband, and flats.
