Hot Trend: Wicker in Fashion
This organic look is also very sturdy, weather-proof, and easy to maintain. Of course, wicker isn’t just for furniture. Lately, this expression of nature has found itself in handbags and shoes. Wicker totes make a great resort bag and add to the light and airy feel of summer. Kate Spade and Salvatore Ferragamo have been incorporating wicker into their handbags. Surprisingly, wicker shoes can be made to look classy as Prada proved last summer and has brought back this summer. Just head down the boardwalk with a flirty baby doll dress and wicker wedges and you’re all set for summer.

I dislike wicker shoes in general...looks so sloppy and unrefined to me.
But I do like the handbags, they have kind of a "country feel" to it that's still very feminine and "old school".

I have woven stuff but it's not like above... I got them in the philippines so they're different, I like it better. I don't know what foliage they use. I like that clutch though. I have a super trendy laminated colorful one (sorta like the patent trend) it has lots of yellow and wow don't use a yellow purse in Chicago.
