what exactly are khakis? for my new job, i can only wear khakis ONLY from old navy or the gap (so not my style, by the way). i thought, okay, easy, but i went and i saw some labeled khaki and some weren't, but were close in shades and styles. to be khaki does it have to LABELED khaki or does it have to have a certain thing about it for it to be khaki?

i know this is such a dumb question.

i need to go shopping tomorrow for new ones, so please reply if you know because i have no idea

They are tan slacks.

Heavy cotton, usually in an earth tone. They come in all kinds of styles, some look like cargos or jeans... you probably don't want those for work.

Try side pockets with no pleats in the front, depending how good your bum looks go with back pockets or not, my bum is flat so I like to go for pockets in back

The ones on the right look like the ones I have. I cant remember where I got them, b/c I dont wear them much, I wear jeans almost everyday. Arent you glad I said slacks instead of britches? That is what I would say to people who live around here, b/c everyone does, heehee.

Jen I think those would work. Of course if they don't, I'm sure they will tell you. But yes, those are khakis

They're nice, if you like khaki's. Everything is so cheap at Old Navy, it's a good place to buy work clothes.
