May Wedding.. need your help please :)

Hi everyone, I am attending a wedding with my boyfriend in late May. I have no idea what type of dress to wear....

I need ideas for colors, accessories, what to do with my hair, but need to find a dress first, can you help?

I am just about 5'1" .. so very short, I will probably go for a shorter dress to pretend like I have long legs. I am also petite which makes this even more challenging. If you know where you can buy petite dresses that would be helpful too, thanks!

Maybe Forever 21? I wore a floral backless dress for a wedding 2 weeks ago, Maybe try something like that. Don't wear dark colors though, cuz its summer/spring time. Try wearing bright yet discrete colors I think.

I actually dug up an old semi dress that surprisingly still fits - and it is light purple, PERFECT for spring.. I might be able to pull it off

I had a May wedding and my main color was lavender, so maybe you can get a lavender or springy colored dress!

what time of day and what day it's on are important to know. I wouldn't wear the same dress on a sunday morning wedding as i would a saturday night wedding. Also is it black tie optional????

Pink! How about a strappy little sundress with a wrap over it (if you're gonna be in Church of course). Not to dressy/not too casual.

It's going to be on a Saturday at 3pm.. I actually have a lavender dress and it has some silver webbed into it - you think this will work?

So funny you say that.. I've had a dress that I have been debating for the wedding and it is lavender with a bit of silver in it!

Sounds good! I'm definitely going to need to pick up a wrap! Any ideas where? I don't think I've ever worn a wrap..

im actually probably around the same size as you, and i actually get my dresses off ebay lol. most of the time they will say that they are for shorter people lol. if that doesnt work, i know this sounds tacky but i saw really cute spring time dresses at walmart, they were polka dotted, or checkered, really cute summery or springtime dress. if that doesnt help, maybe a target or delias? and yes, a forever 21! hmmm.

I'm petite too.. I think even more so than you.
If you opt for something short choose something that is body hugging to show out your curves and all...
If you opt for something long and lil princessy...
Find something that doesn't have fancy stuff on the bottom of the dress so that even if you do get it hem it still looks good. Afterall, its your wedding.. you have to look like a goddess!!

This dress is great!!!! Before i knew what it looked like, I was thinking it was not going to be dressy enough for a sat. night wedding....but it's great!!!! You'll look fab in it...better take pics

Hopefully, I can pull it off.. I had no idea what to wear. I wasn't sure if I should go with black because it's an evening wedding or try to pull off a springy color.

No for a spring wedding this is perfect!!!! Even for a Sat. night!!! So enjoy and take pics and post them!!!! I have a wedding next Sat. night and have yet to find something to wear
