My rant with jeans.

It is so frustrating. I am only 5'2" and even petite jeans hit the floor and drag the ground. I don't want to get every single pair of jeans I buy altered. That is such a hassle. Does anyone know of any brands that are affordable and extra petite?

Re: My rant with jeans.

I am short too, and I have this same problem. Maybe you can learn to tailor them yourself so it wouldn't be very expensive. I am not sure what brands carry shorter sizes.

Re: My rant with jeans.

I'm 5'0, so I know exactly what you're talking about.
You could have a look at Petite Fashionista. It's a blog from a petite stylist from Canada, But I suppose the brands mentioned there, are also available in the USA. The site is regularly updated and you can find many good tips for petite styling. However, that's what I think.

Re: My rant with jeans.

well im not really that short, maybe 5'6" or 5'7" even, but jeans are ALWAYS too long for me. Drives me crazy. Luckily for me my mum alters my jeans. It's really inconvenient though. Good luck with your search

Re: My rant with jeans.

I have a different problem. I am 5'9 and my jeans with shoes end up too short for me.

Have you tried express? They usually have jeans that fit all heights and sizes very well.

Re: My rant with jeans.

Yah I have the same problem as sincerly me.

my problem is i have long legs..they are like 3'3" of my 5'9" height. I need the size of a size 5 jeans but the length of a size 9.. so i have to settle for 7's or 9's and shrink them or at least make them conform to my body properly.

Yeah i have the same problem and i just think that the bigger the size the longer the pants are. One time i bought the short style at old navy but i thought it was too short.

Re: My rant with jeans.

I have the same problem too hon. Furthermore, it's so hard to find a pair that fits me! either the waist is too big or the thigh area would be too tight. argh!!!

Re: My rant with jeans.

I'm 5'0". I definitely feel your pain. lol.

Levi's and Express tend to work for me. For any other jeans, I just wear really high heels. lol.

Re: My rant with jeans.

I know how you feel. I've only found 1 pair of jeans that fit me perfectly as a petite (5'2) and is the right length, my favorite jeans that I wear everyday which I found at the bargain bin at pacsun. its like my HG jeans... and I seriously wear it almost if not everyday. (the poor thing).

I need to go back to PacSun and see if they have anything else like that.

I have the same problem as you. Gap jeans seem to fit me the best. I am only about 5'1".

Re: My rant with jeans.

Thanks so much for the advice ladies and I'm glad that I'm not the only one with jean problems. I would definitely hem them myself if I actually was good at any kind of sewing at all. I suck at it sooooo bad and believe me, I've tried. I can't get them even and I've ruined like 3 pairs of pants trying.
