New shoes a bit big, help!

hi girls!

i got a pair of lovely vintage shoes the other day. the only problem is that they are a bit big, and im wondering if anyone has any good suggestions what i could do to make them fit better. they are only half a size too big, so for now ive stuck tissues into the nose of the shoe to take up some space, however i dont think this is a good long term solution as its not very comfy the people in the shop suggested insoles but i dont see how that will make it any smaller, cause the length is the problem, the width is fine.
here they are, for anyone who wants to see, my grey babies :icon_love

hmmm. not sure. maybe insoles would help a little so that it pushes your foot...?

Re: new shoes a bit big, help!

Insoles might help, you never know. Since the shoe has a pointy toe, it might make the width narrower in the toe, pushing your foot back since you won't have room for both your toes and the insole at the end. Does that make sense? lol You can always buy those half-insoles that only fit under the toe and ball of your foot, and not under the heel, I have used those with some slip-on shoes before that were a little too big and they worked well. (Of course my shoes are always too wide, I have super narrow feet...)

Plus I think I've seen some sort of insoles or pads to put behind your heel that may help a little.
